US Buys $200 Million in Cluster Bombs From Israel
February 10, 2026
Writes Ginny Garner:
Lew,
.
The US gives Israel $6.8 billion a year in foreign aid. Additional details on the fiscal year 2024 numbers.
.
The US just bought $ 200 million worth of cluster bombs from Israel.
.
How does this work? If the US gives Israel $6.8 billion a year in foreign aid, then Israel would use some of that to build the cluster bombs, and then the US has to pay Israel $200 million to purchase them? Such a deal!
