Tips for raising livestock animals

Writes Karin Christensen:
Hi Lew,
Regarding Bill Sardi’s article on ivermectin.
I raise livestock animals, primarily grass-fed goats for meat. I use Noromectin injectable for parasites. It contains 1% ivermectin. You can get a 50 ml bottle for around $30 from any livestock supply company. We routinely give the injectable liquid orally to goats. 1 ml has 10 mg of ivermectin. A 110-130 pound goat needs about 12 mg. You need a syringe to get it out of the bottle, but you can get those at the feed supply, too. It doesn’t taste too bad but can be mixed with a little yogurt or honey. It’s a good thing to have on hand if you raise livestock or plan to.
Just saying.
