The link below presents a perfect plan for curing our unbalanced economy (excellent for the top 1%, good for the top 10% and increasingly poor as you slide down the middle class wealth curve). Capitalism thrives on consumption. Destroying the middle class as is now being done destroys capitalism.

The presenter understands what increasing the wealth disparity in favor of the rich can do to an economy and he probably has some knowledge of the French Revolution. It was not a good time for anyone – rich or poor.

The problem is that most of our super-rich rulers are, unlike the enlightened presenter, mostly of a hooray for me, screw you disposition. Many super-rich families have inherited their wealth. They feel entitled and that the less fortunate deserve their plight because of stupidity, lack of education, chemical addiction, laziness, etc. Getting our super-rich families to share even a token amount of their wealth via smaller quarterly
profit distributions would require enormous pressure.

Not mentioned during the talk is the tremendous part that corruption plays in the wealth transfer from the people to the super-rich. Due to the selfish nature of most of our plutocratic betters and the whore character of most of our politicians, corruption has had a devastating effect on our economy and most families in the bottom 90%. Corruption has continued from our very beginning because of a lack of accountability. No accountability is a consequence our super-rich rulers protecting their “influenced” political minions.
