Strongly recommended dialogue/debate

Writes Rick Rizoff:
Patrick Bet-David and Whitney Webb engage in a spirited give-and-take marked with at times harsh disagreements. But I find them both fundamentally correct.
Though I find Bet-David the better of the two in transcending what decades ago I termed comic book Manicheism. What almost no one seems capable of is seeing political matters in more than two dimensions, as other than a question of binary opposites (to use the old academic expression).
For example, making distinctions between
Trump as a person
Trump as a political figure
Trump as a public phenomenon
In the third case, the public persona is primarily one conjured up by his adversaries – for their own ulterior purposes.
Years ago the author Bret Easton Ellis, when asked if he were pro-Trump or anti-Trump, answered he was anti-anti-Trump. I’m distressed to say I don’t know more than three or four people who could even understand what he was trying to say.
Maybe the most pertinent point made by Webb is that practically all the major American and global institutions are at war with Trump because they really are at war with his supporters. Recall Hillary Clinton’s infamous basket of deplorables comments.
