Sauron’s Tower in Mordor

Dear Lew,
It is obvious to us all that DC has lost control. They are like rats/orcs who look behind them as Sauron’s Tower in Mordor with its All Seeing Eye (NSA), collapses into the dust of nontrust.
All governments need the complicity and trust of the governed to survive. I am not the first to know and say this.
DC has lost that trust especially in flyover country where median income has dropped 17% since 2000 as David Stockman points out in your most excellent podcast with him. Kudos on that one.
The game is over, Lew. The orcs are looking for the exits. They must protect their power, salaries, and pensions because they are USELESS in the private sector. I doubt if they even know how to grow tomatoes.
