Ron Paul and the Liberty of Perdition

January 5, 2026

Writes Christine:

Hi Lew,

As you may recall, the 5th Commandment of Almighty God is “Thou shalt not kill.” It teaches us to not hurt ourselves or orthers.
That is why intoxication via drugs and/or alcohol is a mortal sin against the 5th Commandment.
The Church teaches that we find our liberty in following the teachings of Jesus Christ, and we lose it when we follow the liberty of perdition.
It would seem apparent that Ron Paul is advocating the liberty of perdition rather than the liberty found in Jesus Christ.
“Red Cocaine” describes the usage and development of drugs as chemical warfare. As in Red China, our own government is pushing
drugs on us to enslave us rather than teaching us why we ought not take them.
“Red Cocaine” also said that the Reds deliberately strenghened cannabis because they are aware that it weakens the will and destroys the intellect.
They particularly targeted young men because they are the future leaders of our society.
Laura Stack’s son John was such a person. After becoming valedictorian of his high school class, he announced to his mother that he was going to smoke dope.
He ignored her warnings that it would destroy his mind. After a few years of this, he admitted to her that she was right, it had destroyed his mind.
And then he killed himself. She said that teen suicide is the number one cause of teen death in Colorado, and she attributes this to cannabis.
