USS Liberty Survivor Interview
August 6, 2024
Writes Ginny Garner:
Lew,
Phil Tourney, survivor of Israel’s unprovoked and deliberate June 8, 1967 attack on the USS Liberty covered up by the US government, was recently interviewed. 34 were killed and 171 wounded in the brutal assault. This disgraceful chapter in American history is critically important and relevant to today’s wars because it proves, as author James Bamford has noted, AIPAC was in control of US foreign policy even back then. The attack was intended as a false flag: sink the ship, kill all aboard, and use the slaughter as a pretext to getting the US to side with Israel against Egypt in the Six Day War. Interview with Kate Shemerani starts at 8:15.
