Assuming Trump has anyone around him willing and capable of gathering the facts behind events in Charlottesville (dating back to even the time of the application for permit by the protestors), his only smart move at this point is to go public with a speech and specific evidence – to include DOJ / FBI officials (again, assuming any can be trusted).  He should then call out, by name, everyone who ripped him for his earlier statements – including the cowardly business-council milquetoasts.

Going on offense 140 characters at a time won’t cut it.

I write this not knowing the facts (who does); yet I am certain of one thing: the true story is not as one-sided as is being portrayed.
