Canada is about to discover Mark Carney is the man with the reverse Midas touch. After ten years of Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government, Canadians are referring to these years as the lost decade of stagnant growth, high inflation, exploding debt, a plummeting Canadian dollar, increased taxes including a carbon tax, unaffordable housing, mass immigration, higher crime rates and a failing health care system. Another five years under Trudeau’s mentor, Mark Carney, may be enough time to destroy what was once a proud and confident Canada.
