It was written in 1940 by one of my favorite Orthodox Christian monks, the Elder Philotheos Zervakos of blessed memory, and blogged by one of my favorite Orthodox Christian priests, Fr. Zechariah Lynch of Colorado. Unfortunately, the letter is more timely now than ever.
