The list of reasons evinced by Bergoglio for currents wars, below, is utter trash.

The factors he enumerates have absolutely nothing to do with the fighting in Ukraine, Gaza, the Persian Gulf, the South Caucasus, Iraq and Syria (Turkish and U.S. involvement), Yemen, etc. He sounds like a hardcore Maoist propagandist.

Pope Francis praises Klaus Schwab, World Economic Forum in message sent to 2024 Davos summit

Pope Francis did not mention Christ, Catholicism, or the role of the Church in his message, but instead highlighted the role of the World Economic Forum in the world’s future and ‘the process of globalization.’

He spoke of the sufferings of war, along with a need to address the “injustices that are the root causes of conflict.” Among such injustices, Francis named “hunger,” the “exploitation of natural resources,” along with the “exploitation” of people “forced to work for low wages.”
