It’s Rand Deadline Day

September 18, 2015

“It’s put-up-or-shut-up day for Rand Paul,” says Politico, about the $250,000 he’s promised as a downpayment on the perhaps $700,000 cost of the caucus he wants. As to Rand’s chances for the presidency:

“Jesse Benton, a longtime Paul confidant, said…’There’s a path to the nomination in his lane. His candidacy is still alive and viable. As long as that remains, he’s going to keep on trudging forward.'”

THIS JUST IN: Rand has transferred the quarter mil to the KY GOP.
