The first thing I heard this morning as I ate my early breakfast was Larry O’Connor on WMAL as he quoted from the “Imagine” lyrics (no heaven, no hell, no religion, no country, etc.) and spoke of how inappropriate it was for the funeral in an Episcopal church for a deceased Baptist Sunday school teacher.  Later, also on WMAL, Chris Plante, of the same opinion, played a snippet of Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood singing it.

Others are of my opinion about the matter: The choice of a song known as a communist, anti-Christian anthem appeared to be discordant at best.
