Here’s how Harvard plans to get around ruling, thumb its nose at SCOTUS

And/or they, UNC-CH, and the others in higher education will follow the precedent of the California “educators” when that state’s voter referendum outlawed their affirmative action programs back in 1996: “California Passed an Anti-Affirmative Action Law, and Colleges Ignored It.” 

Yet for the preference lobby, a failing diversity student is better than no diversity student at all — because the game is not about the students but about the self-image of the institution that so beneficently extends its largesse to them.
