Hello Lew,

All media outlets, conservative and liberal, are pounding talking points about “hateful rhetoric” being the cause of violent actions by others. The right blames the left’s “resistance” narrative for the Congressional shooting, while the left blames Trump’s comments during the campaign, but they all seem to agree that Person A’s speech can be blamed for Person B’s actions (something Murray Rothbard absolutely opposed). Once they get the public nodding their heads in agreement that “something must be done” about “hateful rhetoric,” kiss the First Amendment goodbye. Germany is already way ahead of this curve.
