Government & the Mafia [Joe Biden & a contract killer]

October 29, 2019

Writes Jim Lloyd:

Hi Lew,

I heard a song on UnderCurrents by Robbie Robertson & Van Morrison for the DeNiro/Pesci/Pacino film “The Irishman” about Frank Sheeran, who confessed to killing Jimmy Hoffa [unprovable] thirty years before.

When reading his bio on Wikipedia, Sheeran claims to have done a favor for GropeyJoe by preventing newspaper distribution a week prior to GropeyJoe’s first senate run and that Sheeran could ‘always reach out to GropeyJoe’, if need be.  Since it was one of the closest senate wins in history-a county council member [Biden] against an incumbent [Boggs]-it’s at least entertaining.
