Dyson

Writes George Giles:

A great man passed away today, someone vastly more important than Kobe Bryant. A hundred years from now physicists and mathematicians will still know of his work.

Dyson did not believe in Climate Change or in the PhD system. The latter he called an abomination and a certain way to distill creativity and alternative thought from the mind of the student.

You can bend the math to fit nature, you cannot bend nature to fit the math. This is why all climate change theories are worthless. The climate may be getting hotter, it may be getting colder or doing both at the same time (called seasons). Dyson recognized the obviousness of the fact that those who cannot predict the weather for next week, want to do it for all time.
