Dr. Birx to retire

From the NY Post article about Birx’s announced retirement:

It has been very difficult on my family … I think what was done over the last week to my family.”

And:

“I think what was done in the past week to my family — you know, they didn’t choose this for me. They’ve tried to be supportive, but to drag my family into this,” Birx trailed off.

When the political class finally receives even mild harassment it is almost nauseating to hear them whine. So being outed as a hypocrite has caused some kind of trauma to her family. Think of all the families that have been literally decimated by the policies she has advocated. I can’t decide whether these people are clueless or just purely evil. Or both.
