Don’t test them, bro…

Hi, Lew,

The first week of July, CDC’s counts had 1 million cases and 100 thousand dead, giving a 10% mortality among the infected—scary!

I suspected that precentage would crater, and it has, with nearly 6 million infections and 180 thousand dead, giving a ~3% mortality among the infected-not so scary.

After a quick web search, it seems there are roughly 60 million k12 students [public & private], and 20 million college students [public & private].

IHME @ UW projects 200 thousand dead before 1December, but with the ~90% of the press continuing to conflate virus & disease by labeling every infection ‘Covid19’, the public will demand tests for everyone including the family pet, the colleges are already going sideways with testing and quarantine, and if the teacher’s union in IA is any indicator, k12 will be testing every living thing in or near the schools, including the birds & squirrels in trees.

It’s going to be very difficult to mandate a vaccine when the mortality rate drops to less than 1%, and far too easy for any interested party to unseat those who dominate the national conversation after this line implodes.
