Cruz the Hypocrite
January 4, 2016
Says Ted on the Oregon standoff:
Every one of us has a constitutional right to protest, to speak our minds, but we don’t have a constitutional right to use force and violence and to threaten force and violence on others.
Thus speaks a high official of the state, to which the moral law does not apply. It, of course, does have a “constitutional right to use force and violence and to threaten force and violence on others,” a right it gave itself in its constitution.
Cruz also says he is praying for law enforcement, whose members are risking their lives to inflict violence. Ohhh. They could just go away. But where is the fun in that?
