Oh, hell, why not? It’s only $2.7 billion/year and the state already has a $67 billion deficit this year. What’s $2.7 billion more? Chump change.

The hospitals are empty anyway and so are the Emergency Rooms. The now-masked again hospital staff is fluent in Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, and various African languages, and can handle the new patients easily.
