Arson Wildfires

Writes a friend:

I live in the summer hot-&-dry, Sierra foothills, where fire danger is high (even without the risk of political arson).

The local, forest playgrounds have been closed lately, officially due to fire danger; the preceding, virus-related measures just closed the parking lots.

The rumor is that authorities are trying to make it difficult for arsonists to get in/out of the parks.

Fires alongside the highway are assumed to be arson.
