Hi Lew,

Another terrible idea for having government “fix” a pricing issue caused by the free market. Apparently the market is pricing alcohol too cheap. And of course it will help to improve society and won’t cause and negative economic issues or unintended consequences. The article doesn’t say but my guess would be the higher end producers are all for this since their products are likely already priced above any proposed minimum. Plus it has to be a good idea because they are already doing it in Canada.
