1912 Election

December 29, 2024

Writes Tim McGraw:

Hi Lew,

I enjoyed reading David Stockman’s article on Wilson’s Folly and the madness that followed. I blame the whole mess on Teddy Roosevelt and his Bull Moose (Shit) Party that split the Republican vote in the 1912 election allowing Wilson to become president.

Wilson won 6.3 million votes.

Teddy Roosevelt won 4.1 million votes.

Taft won 3.5 million votes.

If Teddy had not run, Taft, a non-interventionist, would have won the election, and we would have lived in a much more peaceful and prosperous world.

Bully!

The egos of the Roosevelts and other politicians have no bounds.
