You Might Like Socialism: A Way of Life for Modern Man

With the increasing interest and popularity of socialist ideas among economically and politically illiterate young people on university campuses, and among urban working class Democratic voters born since the end of the Cold War, it is the duty of each of us to inform these willfully ignorant drones of the harsh unvarnished truth concerning this deadly set of ideas. For ideas have consequences. One of the classic texts enticing the naive and wide eyed to this philosophy is You Might Like Socialism: A Way of Life for Modern Man, by Corliss Lamont. He is shown above with his comrade Fidel Castro. Dr. Lamont was born in Englewood, New Jersey and graduated first from Phillips Exeter Academy in 1920, then magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1924. He did graduate work at Oxford and at Columbia, where he received his Ph.D. in philosophy in 1932.
