Wussified Republican students keep caving in

August 17, 2020

It’s no secret that many Republican students on campus have to censor themselves to avoid being chastised by their friends (and perhaps losing their long time “friends”), avoid getting failed by their professors, avoid getting cancelled, and a litany of other trash. Yes. I see this happening with the students on my campus all the time. A while back, when I commented on a social media post that “mandatory racial training” was a Marxist, egalitarian claptrap, a bunch of leftists came for me. A small number of (presumably conservative) students liked my comment, but not one defended me in the comments. Just an anecdote, but it really goes to show how dire the situation is. Perhaps being “calm and measured” is not the way to go, especially when the adversary is bat shit crazy.

Writes The College Fix:

“More than half of Republican college students say they’ll self-censor in class this fall given the politically charged climate America is in today, according to the results of a College Fix survey.”

“In contrast, only 15 percent of Democratic-identified college students plan to self-censor…”

“Put another way, Republican college students are three times more likely to self-censor than Democratic ones, the poll results show.”
