Is the president above the law? He seems to think so and Congress is doing nothing to disabuse him of that notion. First US bombs fell on Syria for a year with no constitutional authority and now he is sending in ground troops. Congress does nothing. It would still be an immoral war if Congress authorized it, but how hypocritical for the US to lecture the rest of the world about the rule of law when it has tossed that notion out the window at home.
