Will the Impending Scallop Shortage Finally Wake Up Boobus Americanus?

Several people complained loudly at a local restaurant recently after the waiter informed the table that they could not serve the scallop dinner that was ordered by one customer because scallops had become prohibitively expensive: The restaurant owner had to pay more for scallops, but he had apparently already discovered that his customers would not go for higher-priced scallops dinners — at least not enough of them to make it worthwhile.

I heard more complaining about this than I have heard anyone in public complaining about the lockdowns, mask mandates, forced business bankruptcies, enslavement and torture of school children, murder by ventilator in hospitals, the fraudulent “election,” price inflation, or anything else in the past two years.
