Why wait until the military officially changes its policy on transgenders serving in the military so you can join and get a taxpayer-funded sex change operation when you can be diagnosed with what is formally known as gender dysphoria, live as a member of the preferred gender for at least 12 months, and express a desire for sex-reassignment surgery for at least two years. Then you can go to prison in California and the taxpayers there will pay for your surgery.
