Why is Rick Perry So Anti-Military?

When former Texas Governor Rick Perry announced that he was running for the Republican nomination recently he said that the one reason he was doing it was to make sure there would be a vast expansion of socialized medicine for one segment of the American population — active duty military and veterans. Of course, he didn’t put it quite that way. He said he was running to make sure that these people got “adequate health care.” But the “health care” they get is from the American showcase of the failures of socialized medicine — the bureaucratic monstrosity known as the the Veterans’ Administration. Could foreign enemies do any more than this to sabotage the health of military people?
