To politicians, “inventiveness” means inventing more efficient means of killing, lying, torturing, mass murder, bombing of cities (remember the “neutron bomb?”), taxing, and enslaving. The private entrepreneur, by contrast, can only succeed by helping his fellow man by making his life easier and more pleasant.
