The war on drugs. Whites have “accounted for nearly 90 percent of new opioid users between 2000 and 2010, and suffered 82 percent of all opioid-related overdoses in 2015.” No one, black or white, should ever go to prison for possessing a substance the government doesn’t approve of unless he commits an actual crime in connection with his drug acquisition or use. The war on drugs is a war on freedom.
