No lockdowns of gay bathhouses in Los Angeles during the AIDS pandemic. [Then-Mayor] Dianne Feinstein ordered a lockdown of bathhouses in San Francisco and that was quite politically controversial. [Mayor Tom] Bradley however did not do the same in L.A. city (nor did the Board of Supervisors close the bathhouses in L.A. County, although Kenneth Hahn and Michael Antonovich probably wanted to close them)

BTW Newsom will not let any gay bathhouses open to the public. I wonder if anyone’s resisting that particular decree of that tyrant, like they are resisting others.

Let’s hope so. As repellent as bathhouses are, despotism is far more so.
