The Israeli Constitution stipulates that “land shall not be held in exclusive private ownership” but instead is to serve the “public trust.”
The Communist Manifesto’s FIRST plank in its ten-plank platform calls for “the abolition of property in land” so that it is used only for “public purposes.”
Public trust, public purposes, same thing.
