Tom, regarding your mention of a young Syrian who could “earn” more in welfare payments in Germany than he could make in Damascus, I heard a BBC news story this week about a group of migrants who refused to settle in Denmark because they wanted to go to Sweden where they could receive a higher welfare payment.
