I happened to wake up in DC this morning, the belly of the beast. Fortunately, I had a 6:35 AM flight out of that devil’s den. Before leaving the company town I picked up the company newspaper, the Washington Post. In one of the sections the front page featured a giant profile view of Donald Trump’s head. Inside the head was a mushroom cloud, and above that was the headline: “Anger Management.” The article cited some left-wing professor who said if Trump is elected president he should not be given the nuclear codes.
Subtle hint: Elect this guy and he will blow up the world. That of course was Lyndon Johnson’s entire campaign against Goldwater in 1964. It worked for Lyndon, and the Post apparently assumes that Boobus Americanus is even dumber than he was then. There was no mention in the article that it is the Post’s Wonderwoman, Hillary Clinton, who has supported all the dangerous military interventions in the Middle East, the threatening of war with Russia and China, organizing the murder of Gadaffi, etc., while Trump called Iraq a terrible mistake and wants to do business with Russia instead of invading it. And he is the dangerous one.
If you understand that war is the health of the state (a.k.a. Washington, DC), then yes, of course Trump is “dangerous” in that he has voiced skepticism over the Clinton/Bush/Washington Post/CIA program of perpetual war.
The op-ed section of the Post today featured a giant article by crybaby/sore loser/sour grapes/idiot JEB! Bush entitled “Why Donald Trump is Not America’s Future.” Our future, said Biggest Loser JEB!!!!!, should be the Don Quixote-style endless and senseless wars of the sort his brother and father are known for.
