Digging holes and filling them up again. The scam works as long as you blabber something about “green jobs.” “It’s all bullshit” say the union goons, but hey, as long as “someone” will pay for it they’re all for it.
Frederic Bastiat famously explained the fallacy of believing that government spending can “create jobs.” Some Mises University students made this video explaining the Bastiat/Hazlitt “Broken Window Fallacy.”
