Unbelievably Slow Postal “Service”

Roland Walkenhorst doesn’t like the USPS, either, especially when it comes to his pet peeve:

It bugs me that UPS and FedEx now have deals (SurePost and SmartPost: ha!) that have the private carriers transporting the package most of the way and then handing it over to the post office for local delivery. I had a package coming from Florida one time, exactly 1,000 miles away. It took two days for UPS to get it to our local post office, and then another week for USPS to take it the final 12 miles to our house.
