And sometimes it is not just darker-skinned foreigners. Two Ft. Bliss soldiers have been arrested in connection with the drug-related murder of a 16-year-old boy. The soldiers “face murder charges and were booked into the county jail on separate $1 million bail bonds.” What fine role models for American youth, we are continually told about U.S. soldiers. Just two bad apples? The problem with this idea is that it only makes sense when the number of good apples outnumbers the number of bad apples.
