U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Hiding Information on Potentially Dangerous Products from the Public?

Regardless of which, if any, of the profiled products pose a real danger, it should be no surprise if the CPSC operates like the FDA or FAA: a front for Big Industry that bottles up information of potential value to the public. As usual, the wrong conclusion is embraced. Provision 6(b) of CPSA 1972 is blamed, not CPSA and its CPSC. If Consumer Reports et al., flawed as they are, are better watchdogs, that says a lot.
