Trump Ramps Up War on Terror with Drones

In Africa: “U.S. special forces are already on the ground. Drone attacks have been scaled up.” “President Donald Trump has ordered the U.S. military to step up in its fight against Islamic terror groups in Africa after various Al Qaeda offshoot groups have increased their militant actions in the massive continent, according to multiple reports.”

In Yemen: “More than 30 drone strikes have hit Yemen in just 2 days. More airstrikes continue to fall on Yemen as the U.S. ramps up the fight against al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.”

In Pakistan: “U.S. drone attacks inside Pakistan have become rare over the past few years and the latest strike, if confirmed, would be the first such attack inside the nuclear-armed nation since U.S. President Donald Trump took office in January.”

In Syria: “A drone attack in northern Syria, part of a series of recent strikes by the United States in and around the province of Idlib, killed a top al-Qaida leader who had participated in the planning for the 9/11 attacks on New York and Washington.”

Other forms of escalation await Trump’s decisions.
