Those Underground Cigs

The next step would be for farmers to sell tobacco direct to local distributors so they can roll, package, and then distribute in the local free market, and bypass the corp/state monopoly market.  It sounds like the Black and Gray markets of Agorism’s counter economics and market anarchy.  I don’t smoke and never have, but I’d buy a pack just to stick it in the face of the state and help support the whole thing.  I bet Murray would be proud! On similar grounds of counter actions of non-compliance, I went to see Roger Waters The Wall last week and when the house lights went down, the familiar flicker of lots of flames and then a certain smell filled the air.  I thought I was back in the 70’s again at a Pink Floyd concert.  Being a “no smoking” venue, I waited to see the  strong arming come out and yet I saw no usher, no security guard, not even a cop (and there were several) make the first move towards anyone.  A guy right in front of us lit up and not only was he in an aisle seat but not more than 10 feet from 2 security guys holding down portal duty.  The guy and his friends enjoyed a nice long smoke and the guards who I know smelled it and saw it, never moved the first inch.

During the song Mother, the lyric goes, “Mother, should I trust the government” and the audience in very loud response came back, “HELL NO!”  One has to ask: Is a peaceful, non-compliance revolution beginning in response to the ever growing heavy hand of the state, and are some state actors beginning to look the other way?
