There Is Nothing Useful or Decent in DC
September 2, 2009
(With the sole exception of Ron Paul, of course, who is really a Texan.) So good for Peter Schiff for dumping his expensive DC political consultants. Says his brother Andrew:
“We wanted a much more grassroots approach,” said Andrew Schiff, who is filling the role as his brother’s campaign spokesman. “We want to run a lean campaign, a non-traditional campaign.”
At some point in the future, Schiff may turn to a D.C.-based consultant, but at this point, the would-be candidate wants to keep his operation “lean and focused,” with an emphasis on building name recognition among the state’s voters, Andrew Schiff said.
