The State, Families, Heroes, and War

As the debate on families, heroes, and war intensifies, we might, strangely enough, turn to Hollywood (once again on LRC) to remind us of one of the great antiwar films, and without a doubt one of the greatest anti-state scenes in history:

From 1993-1999 he worked as a journalist based in Budapest, Hungary, and traveled through the former communist bloc as a human rights monitor and election observer.
