UPDATE: Writes Lance Connelly: “I wonder how much positive press this teacher would have gotten had she staged a more-accurate demonstration of how these students ‘earned’ the desks. My suggestion: Have 27 taxpayers carry in the desks, each with a tax collector pointing a gun to his head.”
