The Next Paid-Leave Mandate
February 20, 2023
The Spanish parliament has approved legislation to make Spain the first country in Europe that will entitle workers to paid menstrual leave. I suppose this is the next paid-leave mandate that countries will adopt. Don’t think for a minute that the Left won’t take up the cause here. Oh, and abortion and transgender rights have also been expanded for teenagers. Sixteen-year-olds can now get an abortion without parental consent. In addition, the changes enshrine in law the right to have an abortion in a state hospital. I would bet money that teenagers in Spain can’t get an aspirin in school without parental consent, but they can kill their baby.
