The Neocon Role Model of “Good Character”
June 6, 2007
This sounds like a spoof in “The Onion,” but it’s from today’s Washington Post: “At Tuesday’s sentencing hearing [for “Scooter” Libby] his lawyer decided to read the judge a character reference — from Paul Wolfowitz.”
Judge Reggie Walton “was clearly unimpressed with this . . .”
I stand by my previous prediction that Wolfowitz will be the
Claremont Insitute’s “Statesman of the Year” next year, following von
Rumsfeld this year.
