Last night, some of the soldiers forced to watch Bush looked like they wanted to take him out into the alley. None was happy, and he was interrupted only once by (unenthusiastic) clapping. Writes W.M. with the skinny on that: “Flipping by ABC after the speech, one of the talking heads made a comment about the one time a smattering of applause broke out, it was started by one of the White House advance team members.”
