How funny to see Rambo III (1988), dedicated to “the gallant people of Afghanistan,” with Sylvester Stallone and Richard Crenna fighting hordes of invading, occupying Westerners (Russians, in this case) intent on imposing their alien values on another country. The Stallone-Crenna allies? Taliban-looking guerrillas.
