Just before the hystrical smear campaign against Ron Paul was commenced by the Cato/Reason crowd, a Cato executive was quoted as saying that a Ron Paul presidency would move the libertarian movement, and the country, in “the wrong direction.” Tyler Watts catalogues in some detail the “wrong direction” on LRC today. Conservatives and libertarians should compare this to McCain, Romney, Hucabee, Hillary and Obama and ask themselves which is the preferred direction.
